This is a permanent, full time and hybrid role, working from home and our South Melbourne office.
The role:
As HSEQ Manager you will drive workplace health, safety, environmental, and quality strategy, governance and management across our APAC business. You will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliant HSEQ systems and practices, ensuring a systematic approach to HSEQ management while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and compliance across APAC.

As a HSEQ Manager at Verra Mobility you will:
Develop and implement a comprehensive HSEQ strategy with measurable objectives, ensuring compliance with evolving legislation and industry standards. Establish a proactive risk management framework and maintain alignment with Verra Mobility’s risk and compliance systems to mitigate HSEQ risks. Lead continuous improvement in HSEQ performance by analyzing data, driving corrective actions, and monitoring KPIs. Oversee ISO certifications, worker compensation claims, and a comprehensive training program to foster a culture of safety and health across all levels. Act as a strategic HSEQ partner to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, managing regulatory requirements, and driving operational efficiency.Who are you?
You are an analytical and results-driven professional with a strong background in HSEQ and WHS management. With over 5 years of experience leading and influencing HSEQ initiatives, you excel in problem-solving and implementing continuous improvement programs. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build relationships across diverse stakeholders, fostering a safety-first culture. You bring expertise in risk and compliance management, including ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 systems, and are well-versed in incident investigation and root cause analysis. At minimum with a Diploma in OH&S as well as extensive experience in workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes, you are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and regulatory compliance. You also hold a full and valid Australian Driver's License.
