Reports to: Director, Industrial Risk Management & IMS
Travel: up to 35%
Pay: $80,000-90,000/year + bonus

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Job Description Summary: The HSEQ Project Planner is responsible for overseeing and managing HSEQ campaigns, initiatives, and projects across AMG. This role involves planning, coordinating, tracking, and monitoring HSEQ projects to ensure they meet charters, milestones, and success metrics. The HSEQ Project Planner will work closely with stakeholders to align projects goals and communicate progress, results, deviations and risks to leaders. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence.
Overall Planning Cycle Management: Oversee the comprehensive planning cycle for AMG Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), ensuring that all activities align with the broader organizational goals and objectives.
Campaign and Initiative Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and track HSEQ campaigns, initiatives, and projects across Airgas, ensuring timely execution and resource optimization.
Project Plan Development: Develop detailed project plans that clearly outline objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and key deliverables, facilitating effective project execution and monitoring.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all HSEQ campaigns and projects are thoroughly documented, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Essential Documentation Creation: Create and maintain critical documentation, including:
Project Charters: Define project scope, objectives, and stakeholders.
Regular Progress Updates: Communicate project progress, results, deviations, and risks to AMG HSEQ Leaders on a regular basis, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
Project Management Software Utilization: Leverage project management software to streamline planning, tracking, and reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and clarity.
Report Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present comprehensive reports that summarize project status, highlight key performance indicators, and provide insights for decision-making.
HSEQ Activity Tracker Development: Develop and maintain an HSEQ activity tracker that includes:
Audit Schedules: Plan and schedule regular audits to ensure compliance.
Facilitation of Improvement Events: Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools, driving efficiency and effectiveness within HSEQ processes.
Performance Enhancement Strategies: Identify areas for improvement within HSEQ processes and implement targeted strategies to enhance overall performance and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s Degree
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Experience with Microsoft Office & Google Docs Platform
Knowledge of PowerBI
