Job Description

Job Profile Summary 

Hub Supervisor at Advance Auto Parts supervises the daily work of hub employees involved in performing a combination of: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking orders to go out to other AAP locations of the network. The Hub supervisor will be knowledgeable of our company policies and procedures, including Human Recourse policies. They will demonstrate lead-workers or supervisory skills and must make decisions regarding orders and work assignments. The Hub Manager will be required to assist in determining space requirements for storage and schedule delivery and coordination of products, parts, and accessories to achieve AlphaHub objectives and meet customer requirements. They will help to maintain a safe and clean environment. 

Job Description 

Hub Supervisor Job Duties include, but are not limited to: 

-Supervises the daily work schedules of hub leads, and specialists involved in performing a combination of: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking orders for parts delivered quickly initiative. 
-Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and coordination of products, parts, and accessories to achieve Hub objectives and meet customer requirements and certify that all store material is organized and clearly identified. 
-Ensures a safe, clean environment with the ability to enforce all company work and safety rules, including the proper handling and recording of all hazardous materials. 
-Monitors employee attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provides counseling to employees, as required. 
-Coordinates work with other stores, internal/external vendors, telephone sales and other Managers concerning shipments being shipped in accordance with designated cut-off times, merchandise shortages, etc. 
-Maintains various records and reports, such as lost sales, error report, and production report. 
-Recommends changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the business unit. 

-Job training for their team, ensures that team is 100% training through Accelerate U  

-Partner and build relationship with outside vendors to meet delivery expectations. 

-Provide feedback internally to supervisors and logistics partners as required to ensure business continuity 

-Communicate effectively through email to customers, stores and leadership as needed 

 

Required Experience: 

-1 to 3 years prior work experience in a warehouse related field. 

-Previous work experience in a warehouse or distribution center including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to other teammates. 

Education: 

-Associate Degree, or equivalent experience. 

-Bi-Lingual skills preferred, but not required.
