Working on various mobility-related projects in the Global Mobility team within the Human Capital Management (HCM) division, as well as managing US domestic and international assignments and relocations for specific divisions of the firm. The role involves strategic projects across a broad range of mobility topics, responsibility for the counselling / co-ordination of senior relocating employees and advising managers and HR colleagues on complex mobility issues.
Key Responsibilities include:
Advise divisional managers and / or HR colleagues on mobility mattersPartner with the businesses and stakeholders to determine appropriate mobility package and navigate complex mobility challenges including immigration, tax, and relocation issuesWorking with internal tax teams and external vendors on a variety of international tax and social security matters (e.g., dual contracts, shadow payroll, cross-border social security considerations etc.)Working with internal immigration teams and external vendors on a variety of immigration related matters (e.g., new visas issuances and current visas amendments, visa eligibility assessment, move impact on current visas and green cards)Relocation and assignment cost estimate generationSupport businesses with reporting and budgeting needsDay to day case management of relocations and expatriate assignments includes: Counselling transferring and repatriating employees on all aspects of their expatriate benefitsGenerating and reviewing assignment documentationManagement of queries and exception requests, including responding to employees/managers directly, forwarding to vendors and escalating queries as appropriateReview relo payment instructionsDealing with ad hoc queries Generate and review periodic and ad hoc reportingInteraction with vendors providing a range of mobility-related servicesProject work, e.g.: Relocation policy and process reviewsVendor reviews and governance Finance dashboard updatesMobility initiatives BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of experience in a mobility related fieldInternational / expatriate tax knowledge, preferredImmigration knowledge, preferredExcellent client service and relationship building skillsAbility to analyze data and make sound judgments based on firm policies/standards while maintaining compliance Ability to appropriately manage confidential and sensitive informationStrong team player with a willingness to learn and be a part of a global team operating across various time zones Flexibility to work independently and across multiple projects and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong analytical skills and highly detail-orientedExcellent written and verbal communications skillsTechnical Skills: Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Particularly strong Excel knowledge.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
