Course: Human Development

This course provides an understanding of the nature and needs of individuals across the life-span development. This course covers physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development across various points in human development. Additionally, students learn about the influence of spiritual and moral beliefs throughout the life span.

What You Will Do:

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussionsEngage students in learning course objectives and topicsAssess student performance and mentor success in the classroomProvide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

*Professional or Teaching experience required

Preferred: Counseling Education ORCounseling ORSocial Work ORMarriage and Family Therapy ORBehavioral Health ORMental Health ORClinical Psychology ORCounseling PsychologyAND Associate or Independent Level License in Counseling OR Social Work ORPsychologyAND a minimum of 1 year of field related experienceMinimum: Master’s degree in the above areas AND Associate or Independent level license in the above areas AND a minimum of 2 years of field related experience
