Human Factors Technician

Amentum is seeking a **Human Factors Technician** to support our customer in **Spokane, WA** . This role supports all human factors related tasks for training and evaluation during all JPRA/PRA training events.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Review Executive Agent policy on all psychological aspects of DoD SERE Training and prepare, refine, recommend policy, and work to develop increasing consensus across military service lines on training methodologies.
+ Conduct human factors research and maintenance of the PRA human factors resource library.
+ Conduct analog and psychometric screening and analysis of prospective personnel for the unique operations and training that exist in the organization.
+ Support JPRA Human Factors personnel in representing the DoD and other J.S. Government organizations in research, and policy formulation aspects regarding repatriated personnel.
+ Provide inputs to psychological policy formulation, pertaining to training, and oversight of 11 DoD SERE training locations, as it relates to isolated personnel.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
+ Two (2) years’ relevant experience in the Human Factors field with providing guidance to people on mitigating, coping with, and overcoming stress as it relates to stressful activities and jobs.
+ Knowledge of Records Management Procedures.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Active Secret US Government Security clearance.
+ Experience with DOD SERE training and the Personnel Recovery enterprise.
+ Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
+ Ability to adjust and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate orally clearly, concisely and in writing to support efforts at all organizational levels.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $80k - $95k/annually (Annual rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
