Human Performance Lead

As a Human Performance Lead you will assist/partner with the Americas Outage & Maintenance staff and organization in providing direction, oversight and support for the HU Program and in defining HU standards, processes and expectations to be implemented across Americas Outage & Maintenance Services.  Provide maintenance and update of HU program processes, procedures, reports and tools.  Analyze and trends CAP issues, observations, safety and HU data for HU precursors/gaps and recommend actions to reverse negative trends. Chairs and facilitates regular HU and safety review meetings.  Performs HU observations and coaching at various facilities.  Assist/partner with the Americas Outage & Maintenance Services organization in developing, coordinating and conducting HU training for leaders, employees, pre-outage training and just in time training.  Communicates regular HU Observation Trend Report. Support site HU assessments and programs.  Facilitates the regular schedule of key performance indicator development and communication with the AOMS staff.

 

You will report to the VP of Operations and be located at our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. This is a mobile position, with the expectation that you will be on site 2-3 days per week. There may be some minor travel associated with this role (10-20%)

  Key Responsibilities:

Assist/partner with the AOMS organization in providing direction, oversight and support for the HU Program. 

Assist/partner with the AOMS organization in defining HU standards, processes and expectations to be implemented across the operation.

Provide maintenance and update of HU program processes, procedures, reports and tools.

Analyze and trend CAP issues, observations and HU data for HU precursors/gaps and recommend actions to reverse negative trends.

Chair and facilitate regular HU review meetings.

Perform HU observations and coaching at several facilities.

Assist/partner with AOMS organization in developing, coordinating and conducting HU training for leaders, employees, pre-outage training and just in time training.

Develop and communicate a monthly HU Observation Trend Report, initiate changes and testing by organization.

Support site HU assessments and projects.

Facilitates the regular schedule of goal development and communication with the AOMS staff.

Partners with the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety department to understand the latest safety events, trends, and corrective actions and provide communication to our organization.

Assist and partner with the Westinghouse Outage Control Center on regular operations.

  Qualifications:

5+ years of experience

Bachelor Degree in a technical field

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Previous Human Performance (HU) management experience

Prior experience/familiarity with the nuclear industry

Proficient in the use and knowledge of Corrective Action Program
