Human Resource Administrator
The HR Administrator provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the efficient operation of HR functions. This role involves maintaining employee records, supporting HR processes, and facilitating payroll, benefits, recruitment, and compliance activities in a multi-state environment. Must have a service mindset to respond to employee inquiries. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. + Compile and create data reports, summaries and logs for compliance and executive leadership. + Support payroll and benefits administration, including data entry, invoice reconciliation, benefits withholding, payroll deductions and garnishments and levies. + Assist with recruitment and onboarding by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating orientation and onboarding materials. + Address employee inquiries and support engagement activities such as events and recognition programs. + Track compliance training and regulatory requirements, enforcing company policies as needed. + Perform general administrative tasks Qualifications: + Required: + Ability to work in office at least 4 days a week in Plymouth, MI + Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, or 2+ years of relevant experience + Detail oriented and deadline driven + Strong organizational skills + Proficiency with HRIS software with experience creating custom reports and analyzing data for compliance reporting. + Proficient in Microsoft Office + Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel including the ability to build worksheets with formula's, sort data, create graphs and reports, and analyze data for compliance reporting. + + Preferred: + Experience in franchising or a multi-brand environment. + Background in payroll administration.
