As the Senior Lifestyle human resource and compliance manager, you will be responsible for administrative work in connection with the human resource and compliance departments at the Company. You will work with both field and corporate leaders to resolve human resource and compliance concerns and to ensure a flow of information among various disciplines and systems. The human resource and compliance manager must fully comprehend the internal processes that are in play in the human resource and compliance sphere and maintain a level of confidentiality due to the nature of information accessible.
Job DescriptionReview of submissions to the Company Ethicspoint hotline, routing submissions to the proper internal constituents, working to update responsive information, and working to complete / closeout a reportMonthly auditing of E-verify reports for new hiresMonthly or bi-monthly (as necessary) auditing of team member files in the Dynafile (or successor) systemCompletion of team member onboarding auditsMaintenance of Chicago office team member files in Dynafile (or successor) systemMonitoring and routing human resource and compliance related mail receivedCommunicating internally and with third party vendors, including the Company’s background screening vendor, regarding acquisition of new communities and management terminations at communitiesCreating, uploading documentation and managing documentation through PolicyTechCommunicating internally and with third party vendors, including the Company’s background screening vendor, regarding new hires and terminationsWorking with Company communities to coordinate file shipment and storage and maintenance of document destruction processCommunicating with Company’s unemployment provider regarding claims, details and locations updatesAssisting with processing and monitoring human resource and compliance vendor invoicesAssisting with workflow related to acquisition or dispossession of communitiesProviding administrative support and assistance to other departments in connection with human resource and compliance items as necessarySupporting defense efforts through coordination of documentation and information in connection with legal claims brought against the CompanyCollaborating with various internal disciplines to help ensure consistent communication of policies to employees.Identify and clarify issues while working collaboratively with employees to achieve prompt resolution.Perform other duties as assigned.Provide timely responses in a professional manner while resolving core issues.Ability to work in conjunction with additional corporate teams to support user base.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work related experienceTwo years of experience in Human Resources of Compliance related fields Articulate communicator with excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Proficient in systems such as Microsoft Office, PolicyTech, Dynafile and E-verify Ability to communicate effectively.
