Are you an HR professional with a passion for accuracy, employee engagement, and making a difference? A nonprofit organization in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will focus on managing time and attendance using ADP systems, while supporting broader HR functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee and manage the organization’s time and attendance systems in ADP, ensuring accuracy in employee records and compliance with policies.
+ Assist employees with timekeeping inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing user support for ADP tools.
+ Generate and review attendance and payroll reports to identify discrepancies or trends.
+ Collaborate with payroll and HR departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of time-related data.
+ Maintain HR files and employee data with a strong focus on confidentiality and data security.
+ Provide administrative support for additional HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
+ Support compliance efforts related to labor laws and nonprofit-specific regulations.
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
+ Experience:
+ At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or payroll administration.
+ Hands-on experience with time and attendance management systems, particularly ADP (mandatory).
+ Experience in nonprofit sectors is a plus but not required.
+ Skills & Competencies:
+ Strong proficiency in ADP or similar payroll/time tracking software.
+ Familiarity with federal, state, and local labor laws.
+ Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to address employee concerns professionally.
