The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) will support the HR department at our manufacturing facility, providing key assistance with day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruiting, and onboarding processes. This role will ensure HR functions are performed smoothly and effectively to support both the production team and management. The HR Coordinator will be the first point of contact for employees, ensuring a positive employee experience and promoting a safe, compliant, and high-morale work environment.\n

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. This position will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations and should be familiar using HR software and tools.\n

The successful candidate must be an analytical, collaborative, and results oriented leader who can effectively build relationships and processes. This is a progressively responsible role.\n

Key Responsibilities and Duties \n

Supports HR functions, programs, and performs various tasks, including but not limited to:\n\nReviewing and upholding Company policies and procedures. Live our values.\nCreate an inviting and collaborative team environment.\nCreate employee communications.\nResponds to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests, such as employee questions about employment and policies.\nMaintains records of employee-related data (payroll, personal information, transfer, salary changes, etc.) in both paper and in the HRIS database to ensure all requirements are met, verifying and processing employee and department documentation.\nProduces and submits reports from HRIS data for data integrity, compliance review, or general HR activity.\nAssist the recruitment center of excellence (COE's) with sourcing, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding. May assist in creating partnerships with universities, key recruitment channels, assist with job fairs, interviews and outreach. \nMay assist in onboarding activities and employer of choice activities across the region.\nWilling to effectively collaborate with other COE's (i.e. Compensation and Benefits) and functions to effectively achieve the desired outcome.\nAssists in the daily support of site activities such as supporting local employee celebrations, new hire orientation, answering phones and being a point of contact for vendors as needed.\nAssists in the implementation of site, regional and HR and Corporate Management with procedures as required such as legal\/subpoena requests and ad-hoc requests.\nMay assist in global initiatives.\nOther items as assigned.\n\n

Education and Experience\n\nBS\/BA in Business Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field. \nPreferred 3 - 5 years human resource experience in a manufacturing setting.\n\n

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities\n\nProven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources\/administrative position.\nKnowledge of human resources processes and best practices.\nStrong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).\nExperience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, a plus).\nAbility to work with ATS software (e.g., Workday, ApplicantPro a plus).\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships within the location and HR; ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and through written correspondence.\nAbility to handle data with confidentiality.\nGood organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to maintain a positive and professional attitude, especially during times of stress.\n\n

Business Acumen\n\nDetail oriented with strong analytical skills with an eye for identifying process improvements.\nMake sense of data coming from multiple directions and able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to understand how this role impacts cross functional teams and how this role is inter-connected.\nAbility to collect data and keep organized to meet deadlines.\nAccuracy as it relates to report data and timeliness of delivery.\n\n

Reporting Relationships\n\nThis role will report to the HR Business Partner. This role has no direct reports.\n\n

Work Environment\n\nOffice setting with frequent trips out to the plant to engage with all location employees. \n\n
