Job Description:

Are you passionate about people and eager to make a significant impact within a dynamic organization? We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our team in Brillion, WI!

THE DAY TO DAY...

Process Improvement & Optimization

Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and compensation.

Partner with the internal HR technology team to analyze current HR processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve employee satisfaction.

Collaborate with HR leadership to prioritize improvement projects and track the success of implemented changes.

Talent Management

Leads the development and implementation of processes and programs designed to maximize employee development, performance, and engagement

Leads the execution of a talent management strategy that supports the overall business objectives

Train global HR organization in terms of Talent Management processes (i.e., performance management, talent assessment, calibration, success, learning, etc.)

Consult with HR & business leaders to provide guidance in the areas of talent

Partner with department leaders and HR partners on the development of talent profiles, career paths and other programs to support employee growth

Identify talent within the organization and provide paths for growth and development to meet the needs of a growing organization.

Develop and improve leadership development curriculum and programs to build top performing leaders and integrate this with external market best practices

Facilitate development planning for employees with development plans

Coach managers on the most effective delivery of feedback to generate good outcomes

Develop and execute performance improvement plans in conjunction with leadership

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Support talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes for both hourly and professional positions

Collaborate with hiring leaders to understand team needs and role requirements, ensuring we attract the right candidates for each position

Proactively source candidates using creative methods, including social media, networking events, job boards, and recruitment platforms, to build a strong talent pipeline

Lead Intern & Youth Apprentice Programs, including campus recruitment.  Attend career fairs and recruiting events to attract top talent from colleges and universities

Provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring all hiring decisions are in compliance with policies and regulations

Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are set up for success from day one.  Continuously improve the onboarding process based on feedback and evolving best practices

Leave & Worker Compensation Administration

Responsible for managing and administering workers compensation claims program, manages claims administrator relationship

Liaison between employees, medical providers, safety leadership and claims administrator ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating return to work strategies

Responsible for managing and administering employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations like the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), by processing leave applications, tracking leave usage, communicating with employees and managers regarding leave status, and facilitating a smooth return-to-work process for employees on leave of absence

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration required

A minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience

Bilingual in Spanish preferrred

Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws and regulations

Prior recruiting experience is preferred but not required

Experience using HRIS systems (Workday preferred)

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization

Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving skills
