The successful candidate will join the Human Resource (HR) Team to support the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Contract (CMOE) located at NASA Langley Research Center. Job Duties and Responsibilities\:
Collaborate with HR Manager to manage employee relations issues and respond to inquiries regarding company policies and HR related programs Working knowledge of several human resource disciplines, including HR operations, benefits administration, FMLA, disability and leave administration, payroll knowledge as it relates to HR, compensation, and federal and state respective employment laws Various HR-related functions and tasks such as employee life cycle changes, onboarding and offboarding support, data audits, and status updates Conduct exit interviews and report on turnover trends and areas of focus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 3 as an HR Generalist Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner Solid knowledge of HR laws and best practices as well as regulatory requirements for a federal contractor Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in an environment with changing priorities and demands. Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines Proficient with Microsoft OfficePreferred Skills and Qualifications\:
HR experience with a federal contractor HRIS experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, Workday HR certification (like SHRM-CP or PHR) Bachelor’s degree preferredEssential Functions

Office Environment (95%) Test/Industrial Operations (5%) – May be exposed to high noise levels, safety hazards, hazardous materials, and chemicals. Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions. Travel between facilities and test operations may bring exposure to loud noise and potentially hazardous equipment operation (<5%)Physical Requirements
