Human Resource Onboarding Specialist

Job SummaryThe Onboarding Admin is responsible for providing exemplary customer service and support to new employees by coordinating all elements of the onboarding/pre-hire process. Responsibilities include helping new hires learn the company policies, scheduling start dates for new hires and gathering the necessary paperwork. In the event of absence, this position will be filled by the HR Generalist.   Duties/Responsibilities Tracks and manages all potential weekly new hires, both Blount and agency employees Via the TA to NHO spreadsheet. Crafts and sends comprehensive emails to new hires with information related to their orientation/on-boarding.Coordinates all on-boarding processes of new hires relative to pre-employment paperwork, background checks, drug screens, completion of WOTC and clearance of all hires. Collecting employee photos creates and activates employee badges.Sends out the weekly new hire introductions to the Management team.Details of all new hires' initial tasks and answering any queries.Ensure new hires have the necessary technical assistance to set up their hardware and software.Gathers, processes paperwork, and activates new hires in HRIS system (UKG)Process and file all I-9 documentation.Works closely with Supervisors and Training Acquisition, regarding the progress of new hires. Commits to regular scheduled meetings with People First Team.Provides weekly management updates of new hires status.Backup coverage for the reception area on an as needed basis.Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.   Responsibilities for Food Safety Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable. Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food and Employee Safety policies. Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable. Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities, and individuals.If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).  Required Skills/Abilities Business Knowledge Effectively utilizes available tools to maximize contribution.Manage Resources effectively.Understands relationships of resources, process and profitAbility to project a future state, and the ability to prepare and deliver one’s division to its optimum performance.     Education and/or Experience

Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. 1 -3 years Administrative, HR, or Office Experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
