4 days/week in Hudson Yards and 1 day/week in Stamford, CT (reimbursed travel)

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and strategic HR Operations Manager to support and enhance our human resources functions. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role will oversee key HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and capable of developing strong partnerships with managers to align HR strategies with business objectives. Additionally, this role will serve as a liaison between the client and company to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on HR-related matters.

ResponsibilitiesAct as a primary point of contact between the on-site client staff and the company's HR Department, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive employee experience.Collaborate with HR to facilitate and oversee the new hire onboarding process, ensuring readiness for on-site training and orientation.Manage open positions, interview processes, and recruiter relationships.Track and maintain updated records of all company open positions.Manage multiple recruitment searches simultaneously, ensuring a structured hiring process.Partner with department managers to assess staffing needs, workforce planning, and potential risks or gaps.Oversee job description development and maintenance across all roles within the organization.Support mid-year and year-end performance reviews, ensuring alignment between managers and employees on growth objectives and performance expectations.Advise leadership on employee development strategies and succession planning.Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including performance concerns, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local labor laws.Lead and execute various HR projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.Partner with Real Estate & Facilities (REF) and department managers to oversee third-party staffing budgets.Act as a liaison between the client and company, ensuring effective communication and coordination of HR initiatives.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.5+ years of HR experience, with demonstrated expertise in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.Experience handling confidential and sensitive matters with the highest level of professionalism.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in HRIS, Paycom systems, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to travel as required for the role.Work Environment

This role requires being in the office 5 days a week (4 days at the Hudson Yards location and 1 day in Stamford, CT).

When traveling, you can expense any affiliated costs (gas, train ticket, food).

The initial training will be conducted at the HQ in Hoboken, NJ for the first 2 weeks.

You will report directly to the HR Director but will work closely with the HR Generalist, who will handle the training.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
