**Job Summary:**
The Human Resource Representative will assist the Senior Human Business Partner with complex and specialized administrative tasks including reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports. This position will have responsibilities in all of the following functional areas: HR operations support, recruiting, employee engagement, onboarding, employee relations, training, and communication.
**Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ for creating job postings, screening, interviewing, reference checking and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions for all locations. Collaborates with managers to understand skills, competencies and minimum requirements for openings.
+ employee records in Workday, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
+ accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
+ applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
+ Workday to properly add disposition codes to all applicants.
+ Affirmative Action compliance in all recruiting, promotions, terminations.
+ and supports company-wide information meetings such as open enrollment, annual wellness program, and meetings to announce or discuss changes in retirement or benefits plans.
+ HRBP with performance management issues.
+ and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data
+ Support annual/ongoing projects such as performance review and salary planning processes, and talent management initiatives
+ routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to disciplinary matters; hiring, disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
+ compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
+ duties as assigned to support the overall HR operations team and strategic objectives.
**Required Skills/Abilities:**
+ verbal and written communication skills.

+ with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

+ Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
**Minimum qualifications:**
+ least a 2 year degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
+ experience in recruitment , employee engagement or other HR field
+ requires being on-site at our Pasadena and/or LaPorte locations at least four days a week if not traveling to other locations on business.
+ periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ have reliable transportation.
+ be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
+ overnight travel
**Preferred Qualifications:**
At least 5 years’ experience as an HR professional preferred.
