Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Job Description: As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR team with various administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining employee records, assisting with the onboarding processes, and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the HR department. Key Responsibilities: + Assist newly hired employees with their new hire paperwork; including collecting appropriate documents and ensuring that all paperwork is completed fully and correctly. + Issue new and replacement employee ID Badges. + Process all new hire paperwork and forward all necessary information to Payroll Department. + Break down new hire paperwork and put together the new employee personnel file, medical file and confidential file, label files appropriately. + Maintain all forms and supplies relating to Human Resources. + Maintain Personnel files ensuring that all filing is completed and placed in files in a timely manner. + Complete employee verification letters as requested. + Provide backup for the Receptionist including answering phones and relaying messages to appropriate parties. Ensure that outgoing and incoming mail is distributed and completed. Greet and sign in visitors. + Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department as needed. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. + Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR department. + Strong organizational and time management skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. + Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively. Details: + Pay: $20 - $22/hr. based on related experience. + Pay cycle – weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered. + Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm + Onsite position 5 days per week in Newington, CT Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
