The Opportunity!

Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, as the Human Resources Administrator your primary function is to provide administrative HR support and services to Employees, Managers and Executives in the areas of recruitment, HRIS, compensation and benefits, labour relations, employee recognition, employee wellness, training, health and safety, report preparation, and leave administration.

This position requires the individual to maintain confidential and sensitive information while delivering exceptional customer service and superior communications. This position supports the overall HR function from a variety of perspectives including document control, projects and duties as assigned.

Key accountabilities include, but aren't limited to:

Acts as a point of first contact, dealing with general enquiries and referring higher-level matters to the HR Business Partners or Human Resource Manager.Responsible for maintenance of information within the HRIS system.Recommends changes to process and procedures to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of all employee records and human resources data.Works with Payroll to provide data for payroll processing; onboarding, data changes, offboardingCreates employee records in the HRIS such as adding new hires, processing terminations, processing employment changes.Responsible for the planning and preparation for leaves of absencesCreates and administers HRIS entries, reports, and lettersMaintains all confidential personnel files, managing critical documentation and employee information.Assists in the implementation of policies, programs and procedures as required.Liaises with our external partners as needed to ensure task completion

What you will bring to the role:

Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management is an asset.Minimum 2 years of work experience in HR Administration or similar functionKnowledge of Human Resources and payroll compliance legislation is an assetStrong organization and time management skills, along with a demonstrated attention to detail.Previous experience supporting across organizational boundaries is an asset.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple, competing projects that are time sensitive deadlines.Professional verbal and written communicationMust be systems savvy: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
