The HR Service Center is seeking a Human Resource Assistant 3 for the Lifecycle Management team. This role is primarily responsible for administrative tasks relating to employee and contractor transaction assistance, entry, and correction. Additional duties include answering incoming inquiries via phone, chat, or service requests from managers and Human Resource partners.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing Workday tasks for accuracy and initiating updates or corrections when needed utilizing Knowledge Articles, desktop procedures, and other tools.
Solving problems and completing work by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, reports, and analytical skills.
Working in a high-volume transaction and high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
Maintaining confidentiality of information and only view need-to-know information.
Performing job duties while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Answering a broad range of questions related to HRIS data and transactions.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to manage multiple priorities/initiatives and show initiative and creativity. Must be able to anticipate problems and communicate appropriately with Managers and Human Resource partners.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma and at least 4 years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Prior Human Resource experience in a service center environment and case management tool experience
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Average typing speed of 45 WPM with a 90-95% accuracy rate
Ability to abide by the assigned work schedule and work a variety of shifts to support business needs across multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using telephony systems and case management systems such as Heat or ServiceNow
Experience utilizing PeopleSoft (working knowledge) or Workday
Previous experience interacting with customers in a call center/ service center environment
Salary Range: $47,600.00 - $79,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
