Description Opening for a Human Resources Assistant Location: Pembrooke Pines Schedule: In office, Mon-Fri; 8:00-5:00 or 8:30 - 5:30 Salary $55-$60,000 (possible small stretch up to around $65,000) Benefits: portion of paid Health insurance, paid vacation, national holidays, 401k and match; and other perks This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a diverse team and contribute to a variety of human resources functions. Reports to the HR Manager. The ideal candidate has experience in Human Resources, or seeking a career transistion with transferable skills, any Degree Studies or related to HR and any exposure to engineering or related field is a plus but not required. Responsibilities: The HR assistant supports with any array of genearlist duties and related tasks • Assist with the recruitment process, including conducting initial calls with prospective candidates and updating the candidate database. • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of onboarding and exit documents for employees. • Act as a point of contact for employees, answering queries and providing information, particularly in relation to benefits enrollment. • Maintain and update employee files using Paycom software (wil train) • Handle employee timesheets and expense reports using Acumatica software (will train) • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards within the Human Resources department. • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager as needed. Requirements • Degree preferred in Human Resources or a related field. • Any experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HR administration and compliance. • Understanding of HR practices and employment laws and regulations. • Proficiency in using any HR software and databases (Paycom is a plus). • Proficiency with MS Office suite • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
