Human Resources Assistant

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Human Resources Assistant to join our team! The Human Resources Assistant plays a major part in ensuring the smooth functioning of different HR operations. HR assistant responsibilities include assisting in administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of the Company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provides day-to-day support for employees by listening to their concerns and offering solutions. Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, onboarding processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR ManagerConducts or assists with new hire orientation and onboarding experienceAssists HR Manager on employee terminations and supports employees on exit process from the CompanyProvides administrative support related to performance management, staff changes, and communicationsDevelops and organizes presentations, training sessions, seminars Produces and distributes HR documentation and communicationMaintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files and documentationMaintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and recordsAssists with planning and execution of events such as meetings, employee recognition eventsPerforms other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacyDetail – oriented and organizedExcellent organizational skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and related business tools

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field2 + years related administrative experienceKnowledge of HR functions, trends, and best practicesBasic understanding of UAE labor law and employment equity regulationsProven experience as a staff assistant, human resources assistant, or administrative assistant positionProfessional certification or diploma, such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) is preferred
