Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resource Assistant will be responsible for helping with various functions of our Human Resources Department in our Fall River location.  The duties do include assisting with visitors to the facility and answering/directing phone calls. 

Responsibilities

 

Assist with scheduling and conduct the pre-employment process and onboarding; interviews, tests and exams, orientation, etc, while maintaining and updating our systems and communicating with other departments.Assist in welcoming new employees to the organization by assisting with orientation preparation and helping with new hire data entry.Run reports within ADP and Kronos on a daily and weekly basis pertaining to attendance, employee status, etc.Provides support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies.Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.Maintains quality service by following organization standards.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.Filing and data entry as needed for Human Resources and other departments in the facility.Answering the phone and assisting visitors.All other duties as assigned. Strong degree of organization and able to prioritize tasks as given.Attention to detail with directions and completed tasks.Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills.Able to follow and complete tasks from start to finish.Provide high level of service to our workforce by handling basic employee questions and concerns, and assist in resolving issues.Interest in learning more about employee time and attendance, payroll, benefits, etc.Comfortable communicating professionally across all levels of the organization.

Education and/or Experience

Some experience within Microsoft Programs; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required.Experience in other HR, time, financial systems helpful. Job Expectations
