The HR Assistant provides functional support in various areas of Human Resources including new employment orientation and recruitment activities, personnel records, benefits administration, family and medical leave, and special projects that may be assigned. This position provides exemplary customer service to our internal and external customers and is expected to handle sensitive and confidential information.
QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. some college preferred.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
2 years office or administrative experience required, preferably in Human Resources.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with MS Office programs to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with a HRIS system a plus. Excellent customer service skills required.
