Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT TITLE 32 INDEFINITE, Position Description Number D1047000 and is part of the NH JFHQ J1 ARNG, National Guard. This vacancy is to gather applications that may or may not result in a referral or selection. Responsibilities The primary purpose of the position is to provide limited technical assistance to Human Resources Specialists within the office and to managers, supervisors, and technicians of the serviced organization for a wide range of human resources matters. Performs work in two or more of the following human resource specialties. May accomplish work through the use of an automated system. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 Indefininte excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership in the military grade/rank listed in the announcement. Military Grades: E2 TO E8 Compatible Military Assignments: Immaterial GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position with experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 12 months of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level. Must have experience in human resources program's business competencies. Experience that provided a working knowledge of administrative functions. Experience performing personnel transactions. Experience working independently and setting priorities with very little supervisory control. Experience using computer and automation systems. Proficiency in Microsoft products preferred.
