Human Resources - Benefits Intern
Location: 2727 N Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85004 United States of America Job Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience in employee benefits administration and exposure to various HR functions. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and interested in pursuing a career in HR or benefits management. Key Responsibilities: + Assist with day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans + Support open enrollment processes, employee communications, and data entry + Help maintain accurate records and documentation in HRIS and benefits platforms + Assist in auditing benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance + Participate in researching and comparing benefits offerings and best practices + Provide support with wellness initiatives, internal communications, and benefits education efforts + Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct more complex questions to the appropriate team members + Support ongoing and ad hoc HR projects as needed Qualifications: + Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Interest in employee benefits, compliance, and HR operations W hat You’ll Gain: + Hands-on experience in benefits administration + Exposure to HR systems, compliance practices, and internal processes + Networking opportunities with HR professionals + A deeper understanding of how HR supports employee wellbeing and engagement U-Haul Holding Company, and its family of companies including U-Haul International, Inc.
