How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The DPS Human Resources Business Partner will assist with the administration and implementation of the Company's Human Resources activities specifically Recruitment, Onboarding, HR program and policy administration, HR reporting. The DPS Human Resources Business Partner works closely with the FOP HR team, the HR business partner organization and employees of Delta Professional Services.
This role will report to Delta FOP HR Manager and be dotted line to DPS President.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
+ Ensure the effective and consistent delivery of human resources services including: headcount reporting and analysis, support for sourcing and selection, employee relations, performance management programs, organizational effectiveness, benefits and wellbeing programs, compensation, conduct investigations and providing HR expertise to all levels of employees.
+ Partner with DPS Engagement team and deliver INDOC presentation for new employees to help ensure a seamless new hire experience.
+ Support leaders with timekeeping and pay issues as they arise.
+ Partner with Talent Acquisition team to recruit top talent and fill open positions in a timely manner.
+ Develop relationships with individuals, employee groups and leaders of the business to communicate company policies/programs/procedures while providing guidance and support around organizational change, process consultation and organizational development.
+ Specific activities include but are not limited to: anticipating and meeting client needs, executing service delivery systems, creating solutions for business problems or issues, utilizing HR Information System for research or corrections, and serving as first level for employee concern or inquiry intake/triage.
+ Support and respond to employee relations related concerns.
+ May create and maintain HR or business related reports requiring strong knowledge of Excel, such as formula use, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables/charts.
+ Assist with team DPS activities
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Requires 3 - 5 years of coordinator experience; HR generalist experience is preferred.
+ Ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of all and more specific HR technical competence in at least three of the following HR disciplines: employment, employee relations, recruiting, training/development, EEO, compensation, benefits and organizational development.
+ High level of service orientation
+ Professional level oral and written communication skills
+ Excellent relationship skills, able to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization
+ Able to effectively multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast paced, service oriented environment
+ Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, strong management presence, adaptability and have the ability to work successfully across business unit lines and at all levels.
+ Proficient with Word, Excel, and other office applications with capability to create and maintain documents and files as required. Experience creating and maintaining shared online documents is preferred.
+ Manage project execution and follow up, balance multiple priorities, work under pressure with complex issues within established time constraints, meet deadlines and objectives and proactively
+ Must be comfortable working with and maintaining the confidentiality of private information.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field; or similar combination of education and experience.
