Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner I is responsible for the coordination and implementation of several key HR processes and programs including: Recruitment, Onboarding, Training and Learning Development, Performance Management, Benefits, Compensation and Associate Relations and Engagement.

Position Responsibilities

Partners with site leadership to align and support HR initiatives with business strategyCollaborate with operations management to implement a superior recruitment process. Coordinate and conduct recruitment efforts designed to attract candidates based upon staffing level needs to achieve company goals and efficienciesAssure all recruiting activities are tracked and reported out adhering to company recruitment policies including diverse selection of internal and external candidatesEffectively communicate to leaders and associates on all HR initiatives including new hire orientation, performance management, policy updates, benefits and utilization of HRIS systemsProvide advice and counsel to members of the leadership team and associates related to Company employment policies and associate relations issues, employment laws and regulations, prepare necessary documentation, and participate in meetings as requiredMaintain accuracy of the HRIS system and provide guidance and training to leaders and associates to best utilize the system for HR and personnel initiativesAssist with reporting metrics and the development of key HR indicators to measure human capital performancePartner with HR leadership to develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures that ensure consistent and fair treatment by location and across the organizationMonitors, recommends and collaborate with HR leadership to implement changes in company policies and procedures to ensure compliance to applicable regulatory laws such as FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and EEOC

Knowledge and Experience

1-5 years of human resources experience requiredBroad knowledge of HR practices and legislative requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of associatesBehavioral maturity, demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence and the ability to prevent, reduce and resolve conflictDemonstrated ability to balance the needs of the company and associatesStrong written and oral communication skills; presentation and training skillsExceptional customer service, sense of urgency and detail orientationHCMS experience; Workday experience preferred

Education and Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience; Master’s degree preferredHuman Resources credentials i.e. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred
