Position Overview:
This role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-trained, fairly compensated, and motivated workforce. The HR Business Partner plays a key role in meeting the company’s current and future organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the employment process, including recruiting, applicant screening, coordinating with temporary staffing agencies, and overseeing internal/external job postings in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Serve as the primary HR contact at the plant level, providing guidance on policies and procedures to ensure consistent application across all employees. Process plant-level time and attendance records and transmit data to Corporate HR on a bi-weekly basis. Coordinate and administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, employee changes, training sessions, and terminations, ensuring accurate submission of forms to Corporate HR. Actively participate in safety programs, including meetings, committees, training sessions, and reporting. Organize and facilitate training initiatives, such as safety compliance, employee orientation, and anti-harassment training. Provide guidance to management and the Regional HR Manager on employee relations matters. Support and uphold the company’s Open-Door Policy by addressing employee concerns effectively. Assist in conducting onsite employee relations investigations as needed. Administer the Workers’ Compensation program, ensuring proper documentation and claim management. Maintain personnel records in compliance with EEO, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Foster collaboration between departments to drive continuous improvement across the organization. Ensure HR compliance by maintaining required postings, generating necessary documentation, and managing employee files. Perform additional related duties and contribute to special projects as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and follow-up abilities. Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations and apply appropriate solutions. Ability to recognize critical issues and respond effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn specialized HR software. Strong listening skills to understand and address employee and management concerns. Ability to communicate business needs clearly to internal and external stakeholders. High level of discretion and independent judgment in handling HR matters. Knowledge of employment laws, recruitment practices, EEO/AAP, safety training, and policy development. Understanding of regulatory requirements, including compliance with the Department of Labor, OSHA, and other state and local authorities. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. 3–5 years of HR experience required, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Work Environment & Requirements: Standard office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule. Minimal travel required, with advanced notice provided.
