CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Human Resources Business Partner in Bethel, CT!
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a key advisor to site leadership, providing strategic HR support to drive business goals. This role involves employee relations, recruitment, policy guidance, and compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
– Act as a business partner to site leadership, participating in department planning and providing HR guidance.
– Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, working closely with the VP of HR and Site Director to provide policy interpretation and solutions.
– Lead recruitment efforts for Direct Labor (DL) personnel, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates to meet production needs.
– Partner with supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, and hiring, aligning with company values and policies.
– Collaborate with the recruiting team and oversee the new hire onboarding process after job offers are accepted.
– Administer the compensation program and monitor the performance evaluation process.
– Analyze HR reports and recommend new policies and procedures to improve department efficiency.
– Maintain HR information systems and records, ensuring compliance with record-keeping laws and regulations.
– Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws.
– Assist in coordinating employee recognition events and special programs.
Desired Background/Skills:
– 3- 5 years’ experience of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
– Working knowledge of benefit programs and employment law, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA.
– Strong analytical, organizational, computer and problem-solving skills as well as the ability manage multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities.
– Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to communicate with employees at multiple levels.
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
– Experience leading change management initiatives throughout the organization.
– Previous experience supporting remote locations.
– Ability to travel up to 10%
– Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field.
– Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now and Success Factors.
