The HR Partner serves as a consultant and advisor to people leaders in the organization on HR related matters. This position focuses on building leader capability throughout the organization through coaching, advising, and supporting leaders in all facets of HR and serves as a trusted advisor. Under general supervision, the HR Partner uses judgement, experience, process and tools to coach and counsel managers. They ensure accurate policy and process adherence and help build leader capability through training to ensure timely resolution to all needs. The HR Partner acts as a change agent while the organization undergoes significant growth and transitions to process standardization and new technologies. This role is critical to ensuring leaders are equipped to deliver on Daikin’s People Centered Management philosophy. The HR Partner works with a team of peers to support People Leaders and in coordination with our Employee Services team and Centers of Expertise. Location: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN

What you will do: 

Provide coaching and guidance to people leaders on HR matters including – annual processes, performance management, team effectiveness, employee relations, compensation/incentive changes or issues, creating/hiring/eliminating positions, diversity and inclusion, and engagement Equip leaders with the tools, processes and skills to effectively lead and navigate HR issues Consult with and build leadership capabilities of leaders in the areas of performance coaching, employee engagement, and team leadership Conduct investigations and ensure compliance with employment law and policies Deliver training for leaders on a variety of HR related topics Lead or participates in projects and/or initiatives across the HR Function or in support of a business initiative Assist with merger and acquisition integration activities including communications, onboarding, and compliance Recognize trends or issues impacting leaders and works with HR teams to create solutions Facilitate and support change management processes and initiatives Analyze data and metrics and uses in support of making continuous improvement Work closely with HR advisors and Centers of Expertise (COE) to share feedback and data on programs to help shape strategies and solutions for the organization and supports the implementation of new solutions from COEs. Works with HR Advisors to align coaching of leaders with business priorities Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned processes

Minimum Qualifications:

4 Year Bachelor's Degree - HR, Business, or related field 7+ Years of progressive HR experience Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in Workday HRIS

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $141,000 + bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
