IKO Industries is a manufacturer of quality commercial and residential roofing products and part of the IKO Group of Companies. We presently have a full-time opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team based in Moncton, New Brunswick. Remote work is not available for this position. Position Overview: The HR Generalist will provide day to day support to the HR Manager and assist with supporting corporate and plant client groups. This is a development role and will provide a great deal of opportunity for learning and professional growth. Role responsibilities will increase in scope, congruent with learning. Key Responsibilities: + Provide administrative support, data analysis and reports to the HR Manager + Provide day to day support to employees addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly + Facilitate new hire onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements and helping new employees integrate smoothly into the organization + Maintain accurate and up-to date employee records in Workday + Actively participate in employee engagement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance employee satisfaction and overall organizational culture + Ensure consistent interpretation and application of company policies, procedures, and programs across the organization and also identify areas for improvement or requiring updates + Conduct research as needed to develop programs and policies that apply locally + Participates in the development and delivery of communications to the HR team and client groups + Perform other assigned duties that directly contribute to the overall success of HR and the organization Qualifications: + A college diploma or university degree, specializing in Human resources is preferred + 3 years’ experience working in Human Resources + Working towards CHRP designation preferred + Experience in manufacturing and/or industrial sectors is an asset Required Skills and Competencies + Attention to detail and data accuracy + Ability to multi task and effectively manage rapidly changing priorities + Understanding and knowledge of ESA , Human Rights Code, and OHSA + Ability to organize workload effectively + Ability to work with minimum supervision + A strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR + Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills + Proficient in MS Office Benefits: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
