Role Definition 

The Human Resources Compliance Lead assists in developing company Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and procedures and ensures affirmative action programs comply with federal, state and local non-discrimination laws. 
 
What You Will Do 

Investigating all internal discrimination complaints based on federal, state and local non-discrimination laws. Administering the organization's affirmative action programs and analyzing affirmative action/EEO data. Working with management to develop diversity recruiting and retention initiatives. Trains new and existing employees on company policies and procedures. Trains local leaders in supporting company EEO policies and procedures. Trains local HR/LR team members to support complaint investigations. Support IAAS compliance audits. Manages local accommodation processes. 
 

What You Have 

Candidate must have the ability to flex schedule both early and late to support a 3-shift operation. Candidate must have the ability to work primarily on-site at the Caterpillar Decatur facility as this is not a remote role Degree or equivalent experience desired Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Confidentiality: Knowledge of practices and policies governing disclosure of information about the organization, its business activities, and employees; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Written Communications: Knowledge of written communications issues; ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought, orderliness of presentation while communicating ideas, information and requirements effectively. Confidential Investigations: Knowledge of the concepts, methods and tools used in confidential investigation; ability to implement confidential investigation and resolution processes concerning harassment complaints. HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management. Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives. Instructional Design: Knowledge of relevant instructional design concepts and processes; ability to design instructional content to meet the learning needs of a target population. 

Additional Details 

The primary worksite will be in Decatur, IL.  This role is primarily onsite Travel percentage for this role would be at 5%-10% Relocation will be provided for this role Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Summary Pay Range:

$108,360.00 - $162,480.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
