Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Change Management Consultant to join our team in Pasadena, California. This role is central to the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives, as well as aligning human resources with strategic business objectives. In this position, you will work closely with management to implement corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development. (This resource needs to be Southern California based.)
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with managers and employees to address human resources issues
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic HR plans
• Facilitate group problem-solving and development sessions on issues of human resources
• Lead the planning and implementation of client HR roadmap and initiatives
• Provide coaching to management and non-management employees to grow leadership, managerial and team capabilities
• Conduct thorough investigations with complete documentation
• Advise clients on organizational and individual staff decisions covering employee relations, retention, compensation, staffing, terminations, organizational design, and development planning
• Interpret and uphold HR policies and practices, advocating changes where appropriate
• Identify and coordinate training solutions and services to foster cultural change
• Strengthen client usage of performance management and performance development practices for greater effectiveness.
Requirements • Exceptional communication skills for clear and effective interaction with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in documentation for accurate record-keeping
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data
• Experience in training and development to enhance team skills and performance
• Strong planning abilities to streamline HR functions and processes
• Knowledge and experience in payroll management
• Understanding of planning processes to align HR strategies with business goals
• Familiarity with budget processes to manage HR financial resources effectively
• Proficient in review and evaluation methods to assess performance and processes
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration to manage HR tasks efficiently
• Ability to create powerful presentations to communicate HR strategies and results
• Knowledge of 'About Time' software for efficient time management
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate the HR team
• Familiarity with hiring processes to attract and recruit top talent
• Experience in consulting to provide expert HR advice and solutions
• Proven track record in implementation of HR policies and initiatives
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for effective presentations
• Understanding of HR best practices to enhance organizational performance
• Experience in staffing to ensure the organization is adequately staffed
• Knowledge of HR methods to optimize HR processes and systems
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments
• Knowledge of compensation administration to ensure fair and competitive remuneration
• Excellent interpersonal skills for positive relationship building
• Experience in employee relations to manage and resolve workplace issues
• Proven ability to collaborate with different teams and departments effectively.
