mdf commerce Inc. is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.
We are currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.
What will your main responsibilities look like?
In this role, you will be led to:
Maintain records of employees (personal information, status or working conditions changes, etc.) on files and in the database, and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.Respond to internal and external HR inquiries, requests and questions and provide assistance, escalating to the right person where appropriate.Manage all disability and leave of absence files, in conjunction with the insurer and internal stakeholders.Carry out various follow-ups and tasks related to the employee life cycle (maternity leave, confirmation of employment, work permits, end of contract, service anniversaries, etc.).Ensure administrative management of various programs and complete, validate or provide required documents and forms (benefits, RRSP, surveys, audits, SOC audits, etc.).Gather, produce and synthesize reports to share with other internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with other related departments or functions (payroll, finance, etc.).Desired profile:
You have a good knowledge of HR processes and best practices.You are a natural team player and collaborator.You stand out for your communication and interpersonal skills.Your discretion, diplomacy and impeccable work ethic are inseparable from your know-how.You can handle several files at the same time, in a constantly changing environment that can result in pressing demands and tighter deadlines.You can synthesize and analyze data and demonstrate excellent judgment.What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?
Technician in administration or a related field; additional training in human resources management is considered an asset, OR a combination of relevant experience in human resources.At least five (5) years’ experience as an HR technician/coordinator or in another relevant position at the heart of HR administration.At least three (3) years’ hands-on experience in managing disability and absence files.Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment conditions.Excellent command of MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems, ADP an asset.Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French-speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada and the United States.
