Human Resources Coordinator

Job Title: HR Coordinator Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Director of HR Operations Status: Hourly, Full Time

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department, in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the Human Resources department, this position is responsible for maintaining multiple HR systems and employee information for the purpose of accurate record keeping and database management. This position supports and collaborates with all HR team members. Maintaining strict confidentiality is required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Data entry related to new hires, re-hires and internal transfers and employee data changes. Maintain/Update Employee files. Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure seamlessness and accuracy for onboarding and existing employees. Prepare and provide information related to requested employment verifications. Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, including turnover and time to hire reporting. Partnering with cross-functional team members on HRIS related issues, enhancements, queries and reporting. Maintaining and administering ad hoc reporting for the department. Provide excellent customer service to employees, applicants and visitors related to the HR function. Support a positive employee experience for all employees by assisting with employee experience activities across the organization. Maintains knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws, and issues as well as hospital compliance requirements and assist in updating policies when necessary. Update HR Management regularly and escalates potential risks and/or challenges when necessary. Assists Human Resources Directors, Manager and VP of HR as requested. Maintains confidential information related to staff, hospital, physicians and patients. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities (Unit Specific):

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Proficient in standard computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Professionalism and business acumen appropriate for working with guests, clients, physicians, employees and volunteers. Proactive and independent, with the ability to take initiative and seek out work during free time. Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to human resources.

Education and Experience:

Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. 1-3 years of human resources/payroll experience preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00/hr

Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
