Location Description Northfield, Minn. is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start. Responsibilities Join Our Dynamic HR Team! We’re looking for an enthusiastic HR Coordinator to support employees and visitors at our Northfield facility. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with administrative or office experience who are excited to expand their skills and grow their HR expertise. Position Overview As an HR Coordinator, you will be a primary point of contact for employees, prospective employees, and visitors, supporting a positive culture and ensuring a safe and welcoming facility. Responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, maintaining personnel records, generating HRIS reports, managing internal promotions, and providing administrative support at the front desk for half of each workday. Perks of Joining Our Team • Positive, Collaborative Culture: Work with committed team members who strive for excellence • Annual Performance Bonus: Eligible for a 7.5% bonus • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): Including paid holidays • Comprehensive Benefits: Competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage • Company-Paid Life Insurance • Leave Programs: Company-paid and additional electable options • 401(k) with 6% Company Match • Tuition Reimbursement • Quarterly Wellness Program Cash Payout • Free Take-Home Cereal Key Responsibilities Human Resources • Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting employees with questions about candidate status, payroll, and other HR-related inquiries. • Assist the HR team with recruiting efforts, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and maintaining applicant tracking records. • Support onboarding by coordinating post-offer testing, hiring paperwork, system training, and applicant correspondence. • Help onboard new hires, provide payroll assistance, and guide employees in using self-service HR applications. • Act as a backup for employee changes or adjustments, ensuring payroll deadlines are met. • Provide support for timekeeping, answering questions from supervisors, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy. • Research and respond to payroll and benefits questions, escalating as needed. • Maintain confidentiality of HR and payroll data. Administrative Duties • Greet visitors warmly, answer calls, and provide front desk coverage for half of each day. • Manage our employee uniform program, tracking updates and reconciling invoices to ensure accurate usage. • Assist with Computer-Based Training, including generating reports and answering training-related questions. • Create process improvements by using HRIS data to drive efficiencies. • Provide occasional administrative support to the Leadership team. • Cross-train within the HR team to deepen HR knowledge and assist as needed. • Maintain personnel files and employee information in compliance with legal requirements. Qualifications Preferred Experience • 1-3 years in HR support roles, such as recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, HRIS reporting, benefits inquiries, or training. • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Required Qualifications • 1-3 years of office or administrative experience. • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Strong commitment to providing high-level customer service in a business setting. • Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and dedication to completing tasks. • Ability to work with confidential data, prioritize effectively, and maintain organizational skills.
