WHAT YOU WILL DO:

\n

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by handling administrative tasks and maintaining team member records. This position ensures efficient HR operations and contributes to a positive team member experience through effective communication and coordination of HR activities. Job duties include:

\n\n\n\nReview and approve transfers, promotions, and demotions.\nReview termination and disciplinary actions to ensure they comply with PSSI policies and procedures.\nPrepare and submit WARN letters to team members as needed.\nReview and develop policies for the team member handbook.\nReview and process unemployment claims.\nProvide employment verifications to team members as needed.\nOrganize and generate random drug testing as needed.\nRun and distribute reports as needed.\nReceive and respond to multiple phone calls and emails daily.\nCoach operations management on PSSI policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws.\nWork within various human resources and payroll platforms.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n\n\n


YOUR MUST HAVES:

\n\n\n\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (“GED”).\n2 or more years of Human Resources related experience.\nSelf-starter with the ability to work as a team and independently.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.\nProfessional communication skills (oral and written).\nEfficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.\nAdhere to PSSI confidentiality policies.\n\n\n\n

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

\n\n\nAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in business with human resource emphasis.\nBilingual (Spanish) skills to include written and verbal translations.\n\n\n

\n\n

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

\n\n

This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
