Human Resources Coordinator

8hr-1st Shift (United States of America)

This position is responsible for coordinating Human Resource activities at designated Plant.  Key activities include coordinating orientation and onboarding of new employees, coordinating payroll along with professional development activities and other HR tasks as assigned.

·        Work with leaders to ensure payroll from a full-time and temporary perspective is up to date, accurate and ready for processing.

·        Assist employees with Payroll related questions/issues.

·        Assist the recruiting/hiring process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews and making conditional offers of employment for Packers as needed.

·        Facilitate new hire orientation and processing of new hires.

·        Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

·        Create, maintain, and report out on staffing.

·        Maintain employment records.

·        Process terminations through Workday.

·        Actively engage employees through coordination of events.

·        Administer CMV Driver files in conjunction with JJ Keller or another designated Administrator.

·        Point of contact for employee issues around Workday.

·        Create and maintain content on Breeze Players.

·        Timely completion of Safety related items to include Trainings and Safety Observations.

·        Monitor market-competitive compensation rates in alignment with pay strategy

·        Monitor/ Execute good faith efforts in compliance with region Affirmative Action Plan

·        Other duties as assigned by management.

·        High School diploma or minimum 2 years of experience in human resources.

·        Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.

·        Above average communication and analytical skills are essential.

·        Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

·        Ability to handle data with confidentiality.

·        Above average organizational and time management skills.

·        HR Certification (PHR/SHRM- CP) a plus

·        Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
