**Job Description**
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Under the general supervision of a Human Resource Professional, has responsibility for administrative or clerical work in relation to various Human Resources support operations including but not limited to recruitment activities, new employee orientation, training, benefits, employee services, employee relations, documentation and reporting, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and response to internal and external inquiries.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· With direct supervision by HR Management will assist to coordinate or administer various aspects of the organization's compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organization development, and employee relations programs.
· Maintain employee records manually or in a human resources information system (HRIS) so that information is accurate and secure. Data managed may include personal information; job history; retirement and insurance documentation; leave accrual records; and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression.
· Effectively maintain employee information that meets the organization's legal obligations and assists in human resource management and planning by recommending, developing and implementing new processes and analyses.
· Report discrepancies to ensure HR practices and policies are consistent with business objectives, internal standards and regulatory requirements.
· Maintain job descriptions, conduct new employee orientation, help to monitor the HR budget and lead special events and activities.
· Assist with interviews and exit interviews.
· Works with Corporate Compensation to maintain consistency with corporate compensation philosophies, policies and procedures.
· Complete, check, and process HR-related forms and documents in accordance with established guidelines so that HR-related matters are administered quickly and accurately.
· Respond to inquiries and assist employees and managers to complete HR-related forms to ensure that the information provided is accurate and complete.
· Complete special assignments and projects as required.
· Additional duties as assigned.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

· Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
· Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
· The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate

**QUALIFICATIONS** :
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
· 2+ years of previous Human Resources experience preferred
· High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
· Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
· Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
· Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
· Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
· Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
· Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
· Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
· Ability to work overtime as necessary

**Compensation Benefits**
GNC offer a base pay of $25.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional weekly income through GNC's Individual Supply Chain Incentive Plan. In locations where specific minimum wage requirements apply, the pay range may vary. At GNC, base pay is just one component of our total compensation package. Pay within the range is determined by various factors, including education, work experience, certifications, and federal, state, and local minimum wage regulations. This structure allows for progression as team members grow and develop within their roles.
