Human Resources Coordinator

 

 

 

The Human Resources Coordinator is an hourly, FLSA non-exempt position reporting to the HR Lead.  This team member is responsible for providing administrative, HR, payroll, recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations and support services for all aspects of the Grove City plant.

 

Grove City Plant Schedule Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm, OT as needed

 

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

 

Follow all safety rules, regulations, procedures, training, and initiatives Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas Participate on TPM Pillar teams Basic knowledge of HR functions and laws Preferred knowledge of Kronos systems and payroll administration Success Factors data entry capability (Talent Center maintenance) Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Maintain all personnel and job information in accordance with local, state, and federal law Support leadership in maintaining corrective action database Ability to lead FMLA process Ability to participate the Diversity & Inclusion Strategy along with groups Ability to coordinate with several departments and initiate necessary actions to expedite items for plant meetings and other functions as needed Responsible for leading meetings and functions with the Employee Experience Team Meet with foundation representatives and vendors when necessary. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with fellow employees within the plant. Monitor and/or coordinates special programs as directed. Assist the Human Resources team as required. Perform cleanup duties (including, but not limited to, equipment areas, workstations, etc.). Perform other related duties consistent with the nature of this position, as directed by the area leader. Assist in policy implementation, interpretation, and adherence Maintain and update personnel files following company document retention guidelines; generate and issue related reports as required Maintain office supplies are ensure office equipment functionality Assist with plant communications and publications (shift meetings, emergency contacts and notifications, print shop orders, newsletters, huddle announcements, huddle topics, OC News stories, photo releases, etc.) Process accurate and timely job changes, separations, hires and organization changes in HRIS system while maintaining a file for audit purposes. Administer hourly payroll and resolve any pay discrepancies Administer attendance, paid time off, and leaves of absence (FMLA, PLOA, sick leave, STD, etc.). Send leader correspondence for approval and return to work status and track all leave requests. Perform purchasing/receiving as needed for personnel-related items Set-up, coordinate, and promote company, plant, and community events and initiatives, lunches, meetings, recognition, giveaways, celebrations, and outings for special occasions Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews; creating interview materials, maintaining/updating information for all open primary jobs in Talent system Employee files and performance management Facilitate and assist with customer tours Participate with Wellness Team and wellness activities related to hiring Comply with Corporate policies Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as needed Administer tests, training, and surveys; compile results as required Coordinate and assist with travel arrangements for salaried interviews Perform as backup to other HR plant roles, as required Assist with/deliver new hire orientation and safety training as needed

COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES

 

The employee must be able to:

 

Proficiency operating a computer and other keyboard instruments, utilizing Kronos Payroll systems, Success Factors systems, MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proficiency or ability to learn SAP, Kronos, SuccessFactors, Microsoft Forms, and Power BI

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 

The employee should have the following:

 

 

Preferred 4 year degree or equivalent number of years of experience Three to five years of administrative experience, including two years in Human Resources, strongly preferred Experience interacting with employees at all levels within the organization  Experience handling sensitive data

 

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

The employee should possess the ability to:

 

Ability to work a flexible schedule to support production operations Ability to lift and push and pull up to 30lbs. Able to do work in an office environment
