Overview We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator in our Salem, OR location. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with human resources activities and administrative functions. Essential Functions Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting customers and other admistrative tasks Assist with planning and execution of company events Support HR and Site leadership Acquire and leverage Garmin and Human Resources knowledge Provide excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers Serve as the primary initial office contact for associates or others who visit or call the office by providing cheerful and polite customer service Answer associates’ questions or schedule appointments for associates to meet with the appropriate teams Coordinate all aspects of interview scheduling and handle aspects of travel coordination for candidates seeking employment with Garmin and its subsidiaries Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to provide candidate with information and communicate interview and schedule details for each candidate Maintain appropriate quantities of stock and order additional supplies as necessary. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 5 years administrative work experience OR Associates Degree AND a minimum of 1 year of administrative experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated intermediate proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Demonstrated understanding of EEO and OFCCP regulations Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proven experience dealing with confidential matters Committed to providing excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers Consistently maintains professional demeanor and appearance Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field Previous experience working in a Human Resources department 1+ years recruiting experience Previous iCIMS experience Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
