Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting.
Act as a liaison between employees and Deere Direct, maintaining employee information and assisting with HR-related inquiries.
Support routine staffing activities, including screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and scheduling interviews, tests, and other phases of the hiring process.
Coordinate the scheduling of training classes, manage invitations to attendees, and track and report training hours and required courses.
Monitor and respond to the John Deere Jobs mailbox, escalating questions to the appropriate parties when necessary.
Serve as the point of contact for Eightfold support and assist with candidate matching for development program positions.
Verify candidate applications, validate submitted transcripts, and check prescreen responses in Eightfold.
Schedule second-round interviews with candidates and provide oversight for shipping and inventory related to recruitment events.
Prepare management reports and create PowerPoint slides for monthly meetings, including celebrations for birthdays, service anniversaries, and important dates.
Manage the team SharePoint calendar and coordinate engagement materials needed for recruitment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
3+ years of demonstrated experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or recruiting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is required; experience with Eightfold is a plus.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Previous experience as a junior or entry-level recruiter is preferred but not required.
