Human Resources Coordinator - Payroll

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Coordinator provides first line support to employees and leaders. Provides timely and accurate assistance with HR related inquiries regarding HR policies and programs and provides Workday support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

Provides human resources support to leaders and employees within McGriff by assisting with HR inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. Assist managers and employees with questions around payroll, benefits, compensation, time off and other areas. Escalate matters to HRBP’s  when necessary.Perform payroll functions in Workday and in partnership with MMA payroll. Supports the HR team by assisting with inquires, making Workday changes, reporting, and projects.Pulls and compiles HR & Workday reporting.Assist leaders and employees with Workday questions on making employee changes, navigating Workday and general Workday support.Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experienceThree years of demonstrated experience using principles, practices, and/or methodologies associated with the Human Resources discipline.Experience working in the insurance industryExperience using Workday
