Tom Wood Group located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is growing and we are looking for a passionate and driven Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Plan and coordinate all employee retention programsCoordinate and track employee onboarding activities to include processing of all I-9s, background checks, MVR checks, credit checks, and drug screensServe as functional backup to receptionistMaintain and update new hire orientation presentation and assist with new hire orientation as neededMaintain all employee files and purging scheduleMaintain and update employee bulletin boardsAttend required departmental and company-wide meetingsSupport the HR department with various initiativesProvide clear and regular communication on a consistent basisOther duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

High School diploma or GED2 years of entry level human resources experienceExperience coordinating the employment authorization processAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive informationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsUnderstanding of general human resources policies and best practicesExperience with ADP Excellent time management skillsHighly collaborative and team orientedAbility to occasionally travel within a 60-mile radius of office to various Tom Wood locations as neededMUST have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
