Human Resources Deputy Director
We have an outstanding career opportunity for aHuman Resources Deputy Director to join a leading Company located in the Chicago, ILsurrounding area. Salary: $135,585 - $165,715 Job Responsibilities: + Coordinates the efforts of managers and consults regularly and in a confidential manner with the Chief Human Resources Officer and Director of Human Resources. + Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote a positive work environment. + Collaborate with departmental managers to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. + Compile and analyze HR metrics to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement. + Prepare regular reports for Chief Human Resources Officer and Director of Human Resources on HR activities and initiatives. + Implement initiatives to foster a positive work culture, improve employee morale, and enhance overall employee satisfaction. + Oversee HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and managing HRIS systems. Basic Hiring Criteria: + Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and Three (3) years of professional work experience in human resources or, an equivalent combination of professional work experience, training and education. + Knowledge of policies, protocols, and technical vernacular quickly and effectively. + Ability to communicate effectively with tact and courtesy, to conduct oneself in a professional manner; ability to convey information and explain or describe County policy and procedure to others. + Skill in researching new and existing policies and practices related to the workforce field. + Ability to work with confidential materials and employee information and always maintain confidentiality. + Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner with all levels of employees, management, vendors, and consultants. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Ability to work with a range of audiences from diverse backgrounds. + Demonstrated ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with people at various levels and in various job categories. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Desired Qualifications: + Master's degree in human resources, business, public administration, sociology, political science, or labor relations or, Juris Doctor degree. + Six (6) years of professional work experience in human resources + Four (4) years of previous management or supervisory experience Benefits offered vary by contract.
