Are you an experienced HR Leader looking to make a meaningful impact in the public sector? Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB), the State's enterprise finance and human resources agency, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources (HR) Director to lead MMB's internal HR office. As the Human Resources Director you will serve as a member of MMB's senior staff team and be responsible for developing and supporting a human resources team that champions employees and provides exceptional customer service in the following areas: recruitment, selection, job evaluation, classification, compensation, benefits, personnel transactions, labor relations, performance management, leave management, workforce planning, employee development and training, safety and worker’s compensation, and human resources records management. This role has a strong focus on relationship management, employee engagement, strategic partnership, change leadership, process management, and legal compliance. This position is eligible for telework on a hybrid schedule. **Minimum Qualifications** At least five years of managerial, advanced supervisory, or leadership level experience in HR management that includes leading and mentoring professional HR staff, building a strong HR team environment, and demonstrated experience in the following: + Creatingandimplementingavisionforhumanresources thatsupportstheagency'smission and values, including developing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce. + Employmentandlabor laws(ADA,EEO/AA, FLSA,FMLA)asappliedtohumanresources operations and the ability to apply legal knowledge to day-to-day employer operations. + Laborrelationsincluding managingmanagement/unionrelationsandimplementingdisciplineand discharge processes. + Managinghumanresourcesprograms,suchasstaffing,transactions,workforcetrainingand development and safety/workers’ compensation. + Implementingchangemanagementand buildingorganizationalculture. + Demonstratedleadershipindiversity,equity, accessibility,andinclusion thatissupportedthrough measurable goals. + Buildingrelationshipswithdirectors,managers, andsupervisorstopromotedurable partnerships with shared visions. + Must be able to obtain and maintain delegation of authority for the agency in the areas of selection, classification, compensation, and labor relations.
