Human Resources Director
Description We are in search of a Human Resources Director to join our team in New York, New York. The primary function of this role is to lead HR operations, employee relations, and performance management within our organization. The HR Director will also be responsible for creating and implementing human resources policies, managing retention, and overseeing payroll, benefits, and leave management. Responsibilities: • Establish and lead HR practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program throughout the organization • Develop and manage comprehensive HR strategies and systems that align with our organization's overall business goals • Handle employee relations and address any issues that may arise in the workplace • Oversee and manage performance appraisals to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization • Manage employee retention strategies to reduce turnover and promote a high-performing workforce • Oversee and manage payroll, benefits, and leave policies • Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of employee records and data in HR systems • Assist in hiring processes and procedures to ensure the recruitment of suitable candidates • Stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization's constant growth and development. Requirements • Proven experience as a Human Resources Director for a minimum of 10 years. • Proficient in the use of ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now. • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is a must. • Demonstrated experience with Ceridian and HCM software. • Strong understanding of Benefit Functions within an organization. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. • Extensive knowledge of Compliance in HR practices and laws. • Proven ability in managing Employee Relations. • Experience in creating and implementing efficient Hiring Processes. • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • HR certifications such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP would be advantageous. • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
