Position Summary and Purpose: Cincinnati Incorporated is seeking a Visionary Leader to shape our company's next chapter, to drive advancements and shape the future of manufacturing. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Human Resources Director will be a truly hands-on business partner who makes impactful decisions as part of the Executive Team.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Responsibilities will vary with the changing demands of the department and projects.
+ Leads the Union negotiations for the organization.
+ Foster a positive work environment through proactive employee relations and conflict resolution initiatives.
+ Lead company culture initiatives by conducting employee engagement surveys, best places to work surveys and managing results.
+ Amplify the employee voice through focus groups based on survey results.
+ Talent Acquisition and Retention – Oversee recruitment strategies, ensuring the company attracts, hires and retains top talent.
+ Compensation and Benefits – Designs competitive compensation, benefits and incentive programs to attract and retain talent.
+ Compliance and Risk Management – ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including EEO, ERISA, Wage and Hour. Monitors exposure of the company and oversee the preparation of information requested or required for compliance.
+ Performance Management and Succession Planning - Lead the performance management process, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a continuous feedback culture.
+ Identify critical leadership gaps and high-potential employees, implementing succession planning initiatives to ensure business continuity and long-term growth.
+ Acts as an organizational change strategist to manage growth by designing and implementing change initiatives to be effective.
+ Provide coaching and development opportunities for the executive team to enhance their effectiveness and leadership capabilities.
+ Be the advisor to the CEO and executive team in decision-making by offering insights on talent, culture and organizational dynamics
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or equivalent
+ 10+ years of progressive human resource management, with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience (preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector).
+ Labor relations/collective bargaining negotiation experience
+ Proven HR Generalist with broad knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, organizational planning, employee relations, recruitment, and training and development.
+ SPHR/PHR or SHRM-SCP/CP certification

+ Strong business acumen.
Physical Demands: The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, taste, smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment: Professional office environment. The noise level is usually moderate.
