**How you make a difference**
**This is an onsite role (no hybrid/remote) and will require labor union experience.**
The **Human Resources Director** plays a pivotal role in shaping a thriving workplace culture by leading all facets of the HR function. This dynamic leader will drive HR strategies that fuel business growth, enhance employee morale and retention, and foster strong employer-employee relationships. With a focus on improving processes, implementing innovative policies, and promoting organizational values, the HR Director will ensure alignment between people and business objectives. This role requires strategic thinking, deep knowledge of labor regulations, excellent communication, and a passion for creating a positive and productive work environment. **Key Responsibilities**
+ **HR Leadership and Supervision** : Manage, direct, and supervise HR staff and activities to align with the facility's mission and initiatives.
+ **Compliance Oversight** : Ensure HR operations comply with federal, state, corporate policies, and accrediting body standards, including maintaining accurate personnel records and conducting required background checks.
+ **Employee Relations and Development** : Oversee employee relations programs, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and supervisory training, while also reviewing and directing staff development and training initiatives.
+ **Recruitment and Staffing** : Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting efforts, coordinate career fairs, and manage staffing matrix/position control and open requisitions in the ATS.
+ **Workplace Engagement** : Promote HR support and engagement by visiting departments and individuals served areas to provide informal discussions and human resources assistance.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
**Education:**
+ Required: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
**Experience:**
+ Required: Six (6) years in Human Resources with demonstrated experience leading or supervising a small team
+ Required: Three (3) years supervisory experience.
+ Required: Experience working with an HR Information System (HRIS) and/or an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
+ Experience with labor unions
+ Preferred: Experience managing human resources within an in-patient mental health facility or hospital.
+ Preferred: Experience with healthcare regulatory agencies. Eg: The Joint Commission (TJC), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), etc.
