Human Resources Director
Oneida Center is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Utica, NY. The HR Director will be responsible for leading the facility's HR, staffing, and payroll functions.
DUTIES:
Coordinate all payroll timecards and issues by acting as the payroll liaison between the Payroll Department and the facilityCoordinate all employee benefits by acting as the liaison between Payroll Dept & Benefits AdministratorEnsure Department of Labor and Department of Health compliance for all new hires including time-clock enrollment, criminal background checks/reference checks/license verificationManaging recruitment needs by determining open positions, screening and interviewing applicantsParticipates in facility management meetings as requiredContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededHandles HR Duties, including employee disciplines (in collaboration with department heads), change in payroll status, terminations, resignations, retirementsOther reasonable duties as assigned by supervisorREQUIREMENTS:
Must have prior experience in an HR or staffing settingBackground or degree in HR strongly preferredKnowledge of human resource administrationInter-personal, organizational and problem-solving skills are requiredMust have excellent communication skillsLOCATION:
